The Colorado Avalanche (40-24-3) will look to extend their eight-game winning streak at home when they host the Dallas Stars (42-21-2) at Ball Arena on Sunday.
The Stars and Avalanche have split their season series so far, with Dallas securing a 5-3 victory on November 29, while Colorado responded with a 6-3 win on January 18.
On Friday night, Parker Kelly found the net twice to help the Avalanche edge out the Calgary Flames 4-2 at Scotiabank Saddledome. Valeri Nichushkin and Ryan Lindgren also contributed goals for Colorado, which extended its point streak to eight games (7-0-1). Goaltender Scott Wedgewood turned aside 22 shots in the win.
