DULUTH — Minnesota Duluth’s men’s and women’s hockey teams are scheduled to play 69 regular season games in 2025-26 across the globe, from Fairbanks, Alaska, to Belfast, Northern Ireland, in the United Kingdom.
It would cost thousands and thousands of dollars to see every one of those games in person, but how much will it cost to stream all of those games from the comfort of your living room?

It’s not as expensive as you might think.
I took the time to break down what it could cost this season to watch every UMD men’s and women’s UMD hockey game in 2025-26. I also searched for ways to save a few bucks via early sign-up deals and by timing when you subscribe and unsubscribe from the four services you’ll have to use.
I also factored in what My 9 Sports could save fans who live in Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin, and at the end I have some free ways to stream the Bulldogs.
Note these prices do not include postseason games in the WCHA, NCHC and NCAA tournaments. Also, these numbers do not include taxes or other hidden fees, as those can vary depending on where you live.
Let’s dive in.
Of the team’s 35 regular season games, 30 are on NCHC.tv this season, including every home and NCHC game. You can pay $115.95 for just the UMD games. Or, if you sign up before Sept. 21, get every NCHC.tv game for $119.95. Season-long packages include all NCHC postseason games.
In the true Midwestern spirit of doing this on the cheap, let’s save $4 and just get the UMD package.

UMD has five men’s nonconference road games all in the month of October at Alaska, Bemidji State and Minnesota that are all on separate streaming services. You’ll need to sign up for one month of all three to get those games.
You’ll need to pay $29.99 for Flohockey to see the two season-opening 10 p.m. games on Oct. 3-4 at Alaska; $24.99 for Midco Sports Plus for the Oct. 17 game at Bemidji State; and $12.99 for Big Ten Plus to watch the Oct. 24-25 games at Minnesota.
That brings the grand total to $183.92 to stream all 35 UMD men’s hockey games in 2025-26.
Unfortunately at this time, I can only account for 32 of the 34 UMD women’s games in 2025-26, as it hasn’t been released where the Bulldogs’ games in Northern Ireland will be streamed. The UMD women play Jan. 2-3 in the Friendship Series in Belfast, Northern Ireland. In the past, those games and the men’s Friendship Four have steamed on ESPN+, NESN+ and TSN+.
In 2025-26, 28 of UMD’s 34 games — including all home and WCHA contests — are on Big Ten Plus, which no longer offers a season-long WCHA-only pass. You have to pay $12.99 per month for the whole service. You’ll need to sign up for two months between Oct. 10-Dec. 9, 2025, and two months between Jan. 9-March 8, 2026, costing you $51.96.
To get UMD’s four nonconference season-opening road games in September at Mercyhurst (19-20) and Syracuse (25-26), you’ll need to pay $29.99 for one month of Flohockey, bringing the standalone total to stream 32 of 34 UMD women’s hockey games in 2025-26 to $81.95.
However, if you are planning to pay to stream all the women’s and men’s games, you’ll only need to pay for one month of Flohockey between Sept. 19 and Oct. 5 to get the women’s games against the Lakers and Orange, and the men’s series at Alaska.

Also, your Big Ten Plus subscription between Oct. 10-Dec. 9 will get you the men’s series at Minnesota.
So in 2025-26, you can stream 67 of 69 UMD Bulldogs hockey games for a total of $222.89.
In Northeast Minnesota and Northwest Wisconsin, 24 men’s games and 14 women’s games are scheduled to be televised locally via My 9 Sports. The station can be picked up for free via an antenna on channel 6-3 or 11-3.
You can also get My 9 on some of the old fashion cable or satellite packages, like Spectrum or DirecTV. If you still have one of those, then you can watch 38 of the 69 games at no additional cost. However, it makes absolutely no economic sense to pay for six months of cable just to get UMD hockey on My 9 when you can stream all the games over six months for the price of 1-2 months of cable or satellite TV.

Those with My 9 Sports can catch all the men’s games in 2025-26 for $112.88. You can watch the women’s games for $68.96. To watch the all the UMD men’s and women’s hockey games in 2025-26 via My 9 Sports and streaming, it will cost $151.85.
The NCHC and CBS Sports Network chose not to renew their partnership after the 2024-25 season. CBSSN only aired eight NCHC games last season, including two UMD games. Now every NCHC and UMD home game will be streamed online in 2025-26, including the entire NCHC postseason.
You can’t watch Bulldogs hockey for free online, but you can listen to all 35 UMD men’s hockey games online at KDAL610.com or on the radio on 103.9 FM and 610 AM. Five of the women’s games will also be broadcast by KDAL online and on the radio.
