Nobody does it better when it comes to NHL picks!

Utah Battling For Playoff Spot

Utah is coming off a 3-2 win over Anaheim and are now two points back of a playoff spot. The Hocley Club led 1-0 after the first and both teams each got a goal in the second and third for Utah to hang onto the win. The Hockey Club were led by Dylan Guenther who had a goal and an assist while Alex Kerfoot and Jack McBain had the other goals.

The Hockey Club is expected to start Karel Vejmelka who’s 18-16-6 with a 2.47 GAA and a .909 SV% this season. In his career against Seattle, he’s 2-4 with a 3.65 GAA and a .887 SV%.

Utah is 16-12-4 on the road while this season, the Hockey Club is averaging 2.83 goals per game and allowing 2.92 goals per game.

Kraken Rally For OT Win

The Kraken are 15-15-4 at home and are averaging 2.96 goals per game and allowing 3.22 goals per game.

Seattle is expected to start Joey Daccord who’s 22-18-3 with a 2.68 GAA and a .908 SV%. This will be his first career start against Utah.
Insiders Status:

Utah has been playing well as of late and this is a good spot for the Hockey Club to get a road win here. Vejmelka has been solid in net this season, while the Kraken were lucky to win their last game against Montreal, and at home they haven’t played that well. Look for Vejmelka to shut the door and Utah’s offense to have success here as the Hockey Club get a big road win here to keep their playoff hopes alive.
Take Utah ML at -130.
Insiders Status:

The over is also a good spot here as this seems likely to be a 4-2, 5-2 type of win for Utah here. In the lone game these teams played earlier in the season, the game went for seven goals. Meanwhile, this season, Seattle is hitting the over 53.1% of the time. Utah has been scoring well and Seattle’s defense has been an issue as the over is a good bet here.
Take the over 5.5 goals.
