DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHP) — The Hershey Bears have released a statement following a staged fight during the 8U "Mites on Ice" event at a hockey game Saturday.

The Hershey Bears said they cannot support or allow conduct that puts participants at risk, and they are working closely with the participating teams and partners.
The Atlantic Amateur Hockey Association said 'Mites on Ice' is intended to be "8.5 minutes of fun on the ice, with players falling, chasing the puck in a pack, and showcasing the best part of our game – having fun."
