Chicago Blackhawks defenseman Louis Crevier registered his first NHL goal on Wednesday night against the Dallas Stars.
Crevier, drafted in the seventh round of the 2020 NHL Draft, has played in 26 NHL games over the course of the past two seasons. Crevier has psnet the majority of his time the last few seasons with the Rockford IceHogs, but going into tonight he had registered just three goals in the AHL.
Tonight, in an offensive explosion from the Blackhawks, Crevier registered his first NHL goal, with a great set up from Ilya Mikheyev.

This was Crevier’s second game of the season, his second in back to back games. Crevier is benefiting from Seth Jones missing time with an injury. Against the Flyers on Saturday, Crevier registered 17:27 of ice time, a big jump from last season where he averaged 15:41 over 24 games.
Tonight’s game has already been memorable. Taylor Hall registered a hat trick and Connor Bedard finally got on the goal sheet after a month long scoring slump. Crevier registering his first NHL goal was the icing on the cake.
The Blackhawks have a number of young prospects who can step into the NHL and potentially make an instant impact, and tonight was Crevier’s turn.
Congratulations to the 23-year-old on his first NHL goal!
