The Minnesota Wild are coming off what was a disappointing overtime loss to the Winnipeg Jets and are now heading down south to St. Louis to face a Blues team who have not really established themselves yet this season.
They made some moves this offseason to get younger with their duo of offer sheets to the Edmonton Oilers and getting forward Dylan Holloway and defenseman Philip Broberg, but are they actually better? Are they just another boring Central Division team? This might be interesting. They always play like the best team on the planet against our Wild.
When: 6:30 p.m. CT
Where: Xcel Energy Center
TV: Bally Sports North, ESPN+
Radio: KFAN 100.3
Projected Wild lineup
Kirill Kaprizov — Marco Rossi — Mats Zuccarello
Liam Ohgren — Ryan Hartman — Matt Boldy
Marcus Foligno — Marat Khusnutdinov — Yakov Trenin
Jakob Lauko — Frederick Gaudreau
Jake Middleton — Brock Faber
Jonas Brodin — Zach Bogosian
Jon Merrill — Declan Chisholm
Daemon Hunt
Filip Gustavsson
(Marc-Andre Fleury)
Projected Blues lineup
Brandon Saad — Robert Thomas — Jake Neighbours
Zack Bolduc — Pavel Buchnevich — Jordan Kyrou
Dylan Holloway — Brayden Schenn — Mathieu Joseph
Alexey Toropchenko — Radek Faksa — Nathan Walker
Nick Leddy — Colton Parayko
Philip Broberg — Justin Faulk
Ryan Suter — Matthew Kessel
Jordan Binnington
(Joel Hofer)

Nice back check and take away and then Russh and shot by Trenton

Hartman is a top six guy. When he gets quality chances he scores. The top lines should include #97, #12, #36, #38, and #14, and I think #28.

But what about NoJo? This cannot stand!

I’m all on the “Why the fuck do people still hate Hartman” train.

It’s bugged the hell out of me for years…

Third line, Rossi, Trenin, Lauko.
I’d try to get scoring and balance from those three lines. Foligno, Fred, Jones or Boyd/Clarke for the 4th.
