Kings – Adrian Kempe: Kempe led the Kings in scoring against Winnipeg last season, as he scored three goals and added three assists from three games played. Kempe’s six points ranked tied for second in the NHL among all players to face the Jets during the 2024-25 season. Kempe also scored the overtime game-winning goal back in January during the only game the teams contested in Manitoba, a 2-1 Kings victory.
Jets – Gabriel Vilardi: Vilardi is one of several former Kings in the expected Winnipeg lineup for today’s game. Vilardi collected an assist in his team’s season opener, a 5-4 defeat against the Dallas Stars on Thursday evening. Vilardi has six points (2-4-6) in five career games played against the team that selected him in the first round of the 2017 NHL Draft.
