GAME DAY | U.S. National Sled Team Set to Play China in IPH Cup – Team USA Hockey

OSTRAVA, Czechia – The U.S. National Sled Team will face off against China here today (Oct. 25) in its fourth and final preliminary round contest of the 2025 IPH Cup. Puck drop is set for 6 p.m. local time/12 p.m. ET at Ostravar Arena.
The game will live stream on the Czechia Para Hockey YouTube.
The U.S. enters this contest with a 2-1-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record through three preliminary round games. On Monday (Oct. 20), Team USA notched a 2-1 overtime win over Canada, and then followed that up with a 9-2 victory against Italy on Tuesday (Oct. 21).
The U.S. then skated to a 6-4 victory over Czechia on Thursday (Oct 23). Declan Farmer (Tampa, Fla.) was named U.S. Player of the Game after tallying a hat trick and adding an assist in the win.
China enters this matchup with an 2-0-0-1 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record after defeating Czechia and Italy in its first two preliminary-round contests, and dropping its third to Canada on Thursday (Oct. 23)
These most recently squared off at the 2025 World Para Ice Hockey Championship, where the U.S. won 6-1 over China in the semifinals. In seven matchups all-time, Team USA holds a 7-0-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record against China across all competitions.
The U.S. has a 16-2-0-0 (W-OTW-OTL-L) record all-time at the IPH Cup, and has won all three tournament titles since the inaugural event in 2022.
