The Manitoba Moose earned a series split against the Rockford IceHogs over the weekend.

The Manitoba Moose have snapped an ugly losing streak, winning one of two weekend games against the Rockford IceHogs at Canada Life Centre.
Hosting their Western Division rival Rockford on Friday, the Moose earned their first win in nine games, snapping an eight-game skid.
Recent Jets demotee, Dylan Coghlan scored Manitoba’s lone tally on the night, before Nikita Chibrikov and Jaret Anderson-Dolan potted shootout markers, as the Moose relied on 33 saves from Kaapo Kahkonen in goal for their seventh win of the season.
It was a different storyline on Sunday, with Manitoba dropped its 17th game in regulation of the season, falling by way of a 5-1 final. The IceHogs got all five of their goals before the third period even began, before Anderson-Dolan found a power play marker late in the third. Thomas Milic did not fare well on the night, turning aside just 14 of the 19 shots sent his way.
