Michigan State hockey has seen a revitalization under Adam Nightingale, becoming one of the best teams in the nation. A big part of that help was from Isaac Howard, a Minnesota-Duluth transfer that was a bona fide star in East Lansing.
Propelling the Spartans to back to back Big Ten championships, and winning a Hobey Baker Award in the process, Howard has set himself up for a strong professional career.
That professional career has begun, with the former Spartan making the roster with the Edmonton Oilers, and now making an impact at the pro level.
Howard notched his first NHL goal on Tuesday, scoring against the Ottawa Senators. Watch it via X:
