Denver Hockey commanded No. 1-seeded Boston College Hockey early on, taking the first two goals of the match late in the first and early in the second period.
Boston College would only be able to answer one of those, and despite a long battle in the third period, a Zeev Buium goal iced the game, sending Denver to the Frozen Four.
Despite shots, defends and big hits being traded consistently on both sides, this was Denver’s game throughout, as a frustrated BC Hockey couldn’t find answers when they needed them and fell 3-1.
Be sure to check out the full recap from Boston College vs. Denver Hockey below.

Time is running out for No. 1-seeded Boston College Hockey, but before the last few minutes, the officials have called a break to fix one of the goals.
The Eagles have controlled the puck this period, tallying up 12 shots attempts against Denver’s single attempt.
Only a few minutes left on the ice.
Boston College Hockey is adding to its shot attempts, but has had no luck with driving in the puck.
Denver still leads by one goal, with less than nine minutes remaining in Manchester.
There’s been plenty of action so far, but this game is far from over.
The Eagles will need to hold steady and capitalize on their late goal in the second period to bag this one.
The Pioneers will need to regain the control that slipped from their grasp towards the end of the second to keep BC Hockey at one goal.
The second period is over, but not before the last few seconds witness even more big hits.
Both teams are sure to come out of the break with fire in their eyes, and a drive to end this.
After what seemed like an eternity of trading and defending against shots, BC Hockey’s Teddy Stiga was able to slice in the puck to put the Eagles on the board.

Despite trailing, Boston College Hockey shows us exactly how well it can defend against power plays.
Gabe Perreault is called for two minutes for slashing, and will give Denver Hockey a power play.
This could be a key second chance for Denver at the overturned Buium goal.
Buium is able to punch in another goal for Denver, but BC Hockey challenged for an offsides call.
Officials overturn the goal to keep the lead to two for Denver.
Reeder is able to drive in the puck on a stellar shot to lengthen the Pioneers lead.
Zeev Buium and Samu Salminen assist.

This heated battle is only just beginning.
Second period action coming up.
Major physicality has come from both sides so far, but Denver was able to take the lead in the last minutes.
Boston College has attempted about double the shots that Denver has, but with no luck.
Expect more hard hits in the second period.
Pohlkamp claims the first goal of the game, and scores to give Denver the lead.
Jack Devine and Aidan Thompson assisted on Pohlkamp’s goal.

Denver kills the power play, keeping it a scoreless game in Manchester.
Boston College survives the power play, and then a penalty against Denver’s James Reeder sets up a BC power play.
A delayed penalty on BC Hockey’s Gentry Shamburger will set up a Denver power play.
A couple of pushy moments have boiled over as the goal comes out of place during a Boston College goal attempt.
Physicality has been the only constant so far for both teams.
Time for some official reviews.
Review has confirmed that the goal lifted prior to the puck crossing the line.
Can Boston College Hockey find the rhythm it needs to defeat a hot Denver Hockey team?
Only time will tell.
