The United States faces Canada tonight in the NHL 4 Nations Face-Off. Here’s some of the top betting options for the renewed rivalry,

The NHL 4 Nations Face-Off has provided some absolutely electric hockey over the last few days, and tonight, the intensity will ratchet up even more as the United States faces Canada at 8 p.m. EST.
This is an incredible matchup between star-studded rosters with some heavy implications for a reignited rivalry between the neighboring nations. Anthems may be booed and fisticuffs might be traded, but above all else, goals will be scored.
DraftKings Sportsbook has plenty of ways to get in on the action. Here’s a couple of best bets.
This contest is being played at the Bell Centre in Montreal, so Canada has home-ice advantage in this one. As things stand with just a couple hours until puck drop, the Canadians are -1.5 on the puck line. However, both teams are listed at -110 on the Moneyline with a game total of 6.5 goals. The under is favored at -120 odds, while the over sits at +100.
Canada squeaked past Sweden in a thrilling 4-3 overtime win back on Wednesday, but they’ll be looking to take this game in hand with less resistance than in their tournament opener. Meanwhile, the United States are flying high following Thursday’s 6-1 drubbing over Finland. With superstars up and down each team’s lines, just about every player in this tourney is capable of a monster performance on any given night. There’s a few angles bettors can look at here.
Under 6.5 feels like a strong play at -120 odds. USA goaltender Connor Hellebuyck put on a fantastic performance in the tournament opener, allowing just one early goal and blocking everything that came his way over the remainder of the evening. Even with the strength of Canada’s top attackers, including Connor McDavid, Sam Reinhart, Nathan MacKinnon, and Sidney Crosby, Hellebuyck should have a strong performance. The Americans don’t boast the same level of jaw-dropping star power at the top, though they did pour on goals in a hurry during their last contest. This isn’t to say the over is impossible at +100 given a high-scoring affair, but this should be a close game in which under 6.5 goals hits.
Everyone is talking about Crosby’s three-assist showcase against Sweden, and for good reason. The man defies age and somehow has 41 assists for a bad Penguins team in NHL play. He carries -110 odds to record an assist tonight, so it could be prudent to ride the momentum and take that player prop in this one.
As for goalscorer props, there’s two who stand out. Both teams netted a goal on the power play last time out, with MacKinnon hitting one and Matthew Tkachuk sending two into the back of the goal. We’ll see how Canada’s power play defense holds up tonight, but it should be noted that Cale Makar is a game-time decision due to an illness and was limited in practice yesterday. He paced Canada in time on ice in his team’s opener. Shea Theodore is also injured, which caused Canada to call Dallas Stars defenseman Thomas Harley up to the squad.
With that in mind, taking Matthew Tkachuk as an anytime goalscorer feels like it could pay off, especially at +300 odds. For something a little bit safer, consider picking the American to record 1+ point at -125 odds. Finally, we’ll chase another MacKinnon anytime goal at +185 odds, especially since he tallied six shots on goal against Sweden.
This should be a good one, so buckle up and get ready for some puck.
