Knox Benn picked the perfect time to catch his first NHL game.
Jamie Benn’s 7-month-old son attended Sunday’s game between the Dallas Stars and the Ottawa Senators at American Airlines Arena — a 6-1 win for the Stars — and got to see the team honor his dad’s 400th NHL goal in a special pregame ceremony.

The Stars captain and three-time NHL All Star scored his milestone goal on Tuesday in an 8-3 win over the Edmonton Oilers, then put another one in on Friday in a 4-3 win over the Utah Mammoth.
He scored again on Sunday, in front of his son, to bring his career total to 402 goals and help push the Stars to their fourth win in a row, and fifth in their last six games.
