I’m still mad about the “incidental” stick, with intent, for about five or six seconds against Blackie on the first goal for the Islanders. I know that didn’t cost them the game but I find that call to be the worst I’ve seen in a long, long time. Is there no accountability for the NHL referees or the “Situation Review” team in Toronto? I defy you to say that was incidental interference by watching the replay. Clear, deliberate attempt at keeping the goaltender down by jamming and keeping his stick in Blackie’s pad. Oh well, on to the next game.
