Augie Hockey Coach Garrett Raboin knows that CCHA games will all be hard fought – Dakota News Now

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) -The Augustana Hockey team is back at MIDCO Arena Friday and Saturday nights against Northern Michigan.
The Vikings swept #15 Arizona State in their only 2 home games but lost a pair of 1-goal games at Bemidji to start the conference schedule last weekend.
Coach Garrett Raboin knows his team will have games like that the rest of the way in the CCHA.
Garrett Raboin, Augie Hockey Coach says, “I like our team. When I’m watching the hockey play out, it’s a good brand of hockey that we’re playing. The effort’s there, the energy is there. I think it’s just a reminder of how hard it is. And if you leave games up to chance, if you take too many penalties, if you ignore some of the finer details of the game it can happen. You’re not going to always going to get thge result if you just leave it up to chance.”
The Vikings need to get their offense going. Josh Kotai was brilliant last weekend, but they scored only 2 goals in the 2 losses at Bemidji.
