The Arkansas Ice Hockey Club released their 2025-2026 season schedule, which opens with a two-game matchup against East Texas Baptist University.
The Division II team will play against ETBU at the Jones Center in Springdale, Arkansas. The first game will be played Friday at 7:30 p.m., and the second game will be played Saturday at 3:15 p.m.
Following the match with ETBU, the squad will travel to Jefferson City, Missouri, to face the Missouri Tigers Sept. 12 and 13. They will return home and host the Iowa Hawkeyes Sept. 19 and 20. 
The Ice Hogs will host teams including Nebraska, Illinois and Ole Miss this semester. Head coach Keller Sims said that despite the challenging schedule, his team will be well-equipped to face each opponent.
“We’ve built a program that thrives on competition, and this schedule reflects that,” Sims said. “Our D2 team will face some tough opponents both at home and on the road, which will prepare us for another deep postseason run.”
The Division III team starts its season by traveling to Jefferson City to face Missouri on Sept. 12 and 13. They will also host teams including Ole Miss, Omaha and Dallas Baptist.
