U17s Fall to Cedar Rapids, 6-0 – USA Hockey National Team Development Program

PLYMOUTH, Mich. -The U.S. National Under-17 Team dropped to the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, 6-0 on Sunday afternoon at USA Hockey Arena.
Nate Chizik (Warrington, Pa.) stood tall in the first period, stopping all 21 shots to keep the game scoreless.

In the second, Cedar Rapids was able to breakthrough on a Ruben Westerling shot in front.
Six minutes later, the RoughRiders pushed their advantage to 2-0 and took that lead into the third period.
Cedar Rapids added on four in the final frame to win, 6-0.
Chizik started in net and made 47 stops.
The U17s are back at USA Hockey Arena on Friday, March 13 as they host the Fargo Force. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m. ET and tickets are available at USAHockeyNTDP.com/tix or by calling the box office at 734-453-8400.
