Competition kicks off with a pair of Group B play matchups — Slovakia taking on Finland and Sweden taking on Italy — at the Milano Santagiulia IHO Arena in Milan on Wednesday, Feb. 11.
Several NHL players will take the ice in Milan on Wednesday, including Dallas Stars‘ Miro Heiskanen and Esa Lindell for Finland, Tampa Bay Lightning‘s Victor Hedman and New York Rangers‘ Mika Zibanejad for Sweden and Montreal Canadiens‘ Juraj Slafkovsky for Slovakia. The home country, Italy, does not have any NHL players on its roster.
