Canada and United States will meet in the gold medal game at the 2026 Winter Olympics on Feb. 22 (7:10 a.m. CT, NBC).
The men’s hockey final will take place at Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena in Milan, Italy, two days after the semifinal round on Feb. 20.
Canada beat Finland 3-2, clinching the game on Nathan MacKinnon’s goal with 35 seconds remaining, and United States beat Slovakia 6-2, led by Jack Hughes’ two goals.
The last time Canada and United States met in the gold medal game was 2010 in Vancouver when Sidney Crosby scored the game-winning goal for Canada in overtime. Canada also won gold in 2014, beating Sweden in the final.
The United States is looking to win their first gold medal since 1980.
