Canada solidified its spot for gold with a last-second, heart-pounding 3-2 win over Finland in the first semifinal game Friday afternoon.
Alternate captain Nathan MacKinnon scored on the power play with 35 seconds left in regulation to put Canada up for good.
Their opponent will be known in the next couple of hours as USA and Slovakia square off in the second semifinal to determine who will play for a gold medal this weekend.
