The Quarterfinals of the Women’s Hockey tournament at the 2026 Milan Winter Olympics began on Friday, Feb. 13, and the second matchup of the day is between the United States and Italy and takes place at Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena in Milan.
This event is scheduled to start at 1 p.m. EST and will be broadcast on USA Network and Peacock. Fans looking to watch can do so for free by using DIRECTV, which offers a free trial. SlingTV doesn’t offer a free trial but has promotional offers available for streaming the Olympics. Peacock has plans starting at $10.99 a month and offers exclusive access to every 2026 Milan Winter Olympics event.
The United States has not allowed a goal since its first game of the Olympics against Czechia, but the one thing that game does have in common with every other game the USA has played, they have scored 5 goals. The team is coming off a 5-0 win against a Canada team that has exerted similar dominance in all of its contests besides the meeting with the USA.
The host nation Italy was only 2-2 in the Preliminary Round and was on the wrong end of a 6-1 blowout against Sweden. After scoring 4 goals against France in a 4-1, Italy barley eclipsed that number over its next three games, with a 3-2 win over Japan being the only other time Italy scored multiple goals.
