The 2026 Milan Cortina Olympics will provide the team a key chance now that NHL players are back in the fold. It’s the first time they’ll be allowed to play since the 2014 Sochi Games.

Team USA’s roster is among the best at the Olympics because of the rule update, with the 25-man roster featuring names such as Auston Matthews, Brady and Matthew Tkachuk, Jack Eichel and Jack Hughes. The roster will be tasked with claiming the nation’s first gold since 1980.

They’ll face fierce competition from Canada, who will have Connor McDavid, Sidney Crosby, Nathan MacKinnon and Brad Marchand, among others, while Finland is looking to repeat.
Here’s how to watch Team USA go for gold in Italy:
The men’s tournament will run from Wednesday, Feb. 11, to Sunday, Feb. 22, the same day as the Closing Ceremony.
The two venues hosting hockey games are the Milano Santagiulia Ice Hockey Arena and Milano Rho Ice Hockey Arena.
Live streaming of Team USA will be available via Peacock and NBCOlympics.com. Live and tape-delayed coverage will be shown on the following channels: NBC, CNBC, and USA Network.
