Center Conway native to serve as video coach for U.S. men's ice hockey team – WMUR


A Center Conway native who rose from New Hampshire to the NHL is now headed to the Winter Olympics.
Mike King will serve as video coach for the U.S. men’s ice hockey team at the Milan-Cortina games.
A graduate of Kennett High School, King currently works as the video coach for the Ottawa Senators.

He said the biggest part of his job is making sure coaches and players are prepared for their next opponent.
“The main course of my job is to make sure that I watch other teams play brief them on what to expect for that evening’s game,” King said.
King said he is proud to represent the Granite State at the Olympics.
The U.S. men’s ice hockey team will begin preliminary-round on Thursday, Feb. 12.
