James Hagens gets his second goal of the period, and it was another sweet setup from Oscar Hemming, who found Hagens on the backdoor for the tap in. The 17-year-old Hemming is playing in just his eighth game at BC after joining the Eagles for the second semester. Pretty good start to your college career.

The Eagles make it 2-0 in the first period after James Hagens hammers home a rebound from the low slot for his 13th of the season. Oscar Hemming set it up with a nifty little chip around the Harvard defender before firing one at Charette, with Hagens cleaning up the rebound.

After taking the early penalty, Aram Minnetian comes out of the box and takes it up the ice into Harvard territory. His pass was blocked by a Harvard defender’s skate, but it bounced straight onto the stick of Drew Fortescue, who ripped one past the glove of Harvard goalie Ben Charette to give the Eagles an early lead.
