Wild's Brock Faber, Matt Boldy Compete For 4 Nations Championship Tonight Vs Canada – The Hockey News

The 4 Nations Face-Off Championship game is tonight between team USA and Team Canada. Wild forward Matt Boldy and Wild defenseman Brock Faber will be competing for the trophy tonight.
These two teams met earlier in the tournament which resulted in a team USA 3-1 win. Boldy and Faber both recorded assists in that game.
Boldy, 23, has one goal and two assists in three games for USA. His only goal was a game-winning goal and he is a plus-2 with seven shots on net.
Faber, 22, is one of two USA defensemen who has recorded a point during the tournament. Zach Werenski leads the way with five points on five assists. Faber has two assists in three games.
The young defenseman has been one of the best shutdown defensemen in this tournament. He has played alongside Carolina Hurricanes defender Jaccob Slavin. The two were on the ice for every American goal against Canada and weren’t on the ice for Canada’s goal.
Faber played 25:19 and Slavin played 25:36 which was first and second on the team. They both blocked three shots which also led the team the last time Canada and USA played.
We will see how Thursday’s Championship game goes.
