
Eight Boston Bruins stars will be headed to Milano Cortina for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games, which begin next week.
They’ll be representing five nations in the games:
The Team USA roster also includes several players with ties to Massachusetts, including Matt Boldy, a Millis-native, who played for Boston College and is on the Minnesota Wild, and Jack Eichel, a Chelmsford-native who played for Boston University and is on the Vegas Golden Knights.
They are joined by Norwood-native Noah Hanifin, who played for Boston College and now plays for the Vegas Golden Knights; Connor Hellebuyck, who played for UMass Lowell and now plays for the Winnipeg Jets; and Jake Oettinger, who played for Boston University and now plays for the Dallas Stars.
The roster also includes Brady Tkachuk, who played for Boston University and now plays for the Ottawa Senators; and his brother Matthew Tkachuk. They are the sons of former NHL star Keith Tkachuk.
