Fans will have another way to get to the Penn State men’s hockey team’s historic game at Beaver Stadium on Jan. 31.
Fullington Trailways will operate multiple shuttle routes starting at 10 a.m., ahead of the 1 p.m. puck drop against Michigan State. Shuttles servicing multiple pickup points will run through the first period then resume in the third period until 90 minutes after the game.
Roundtrip tickets are $20 per person paid in cash when boarding.
“We’re proud to provide a reliable, comfortable travel option for hockey fans,” a Fullington Trailways representative said in a release. “Our shuttles not only enhance the game-day experience but also support community engagement by making events more accessible to everyone.”
The four gameday shuttle routes are
State College Regional Airport Route
* Penn State Aviation Center, 2535 Fox Hill Road
• Fullington Bus Garage, 2101 Alexander Drive
Penn Stater Hotel Route
• Penn Stater Hotel entrance, 215 Innovation Boulevard
Benner Pike Route
• Best Western, 115 Premiere Drive
• Walmart parking lot, 373 Benner Pike, pickup at road across from Barnes & Noble
• Country Inn & Suites (1357 E College Ave, pickup on Millbrook Way
North Atherton Route
• Sleep Inn and Comfort Suites, corner of Village Drive and Allen Street
• Weis Market, 1471 Martin Street, pickup at parking lot annex between Weis and Giant
• Target, 315 Colonnade Boulevard, pickup at east side parking lot near Kohl’s
• Toftrees Resort Hotel, 1 Country Club Lane
• Village at Penn State, Toftrees Avenue and Presidents Drive
The Centre Area Transportation Authority is also running a gameday shuttle on Jan. 31, as previously reported. The service will operate between the Hills Plaza on South Atherton Street and Beaver Stadium from 10 a.m. until one hour after the game ends. Fare will be $2.50 each way per person, with exact cash fare, tokens or passes accepted.
CATA’s White Loop additionally offers fare-free bus service to and from the stadium area with multiple stops on campus and in downtown State College. It will operate at full service, with busses arriving approximately every eight minutes starting at 11:15 a.m. and continuing through the end of the day’s regular bus service.
