Players to Watch
Kings – Alex Laferriere: Laferriere recorded his first career NHL hat trick when these teams met in Los Angeles on December 27, giving him four goals on the season against the Ducks, the most on the Kings. The New Jersey native has scored seven times versus Anaheim over the last two seasons, more than any other player in the NHL in that span.
Ducks – Jackson LaCombe: LaCombe became the first Anaheim defenseman this season to reach the 30-point mark as he collected an assist on the first Ducks goal in yesterday’s 3-2 win over the Kings. LaCombe has two assists in three games played against Los Angeles so far this season and is one of 19 blueliners around the NHL to have 30+ points at this stage in the season.
