Both Northern Michigan teams won their games at Saginaw Valley State Saturday…
The Michigan Tech hockey team completed a weekend sweep of 17th-ranked Minnesota State with a 4-1 victory Saturday night. The Huskies built a 3-0 lead with goals from Luca Fasciano, Kalem Parker and Isaac Gordon. The Mavericks got one back in the third period, before Carson Latimer sealed the win with an empty-netter. Owen Bartoszkiewicz made a career-high 46 saves.
Northern Michigan’s hockey team had the weekend off.
Both the Portage Lake Pioneers and the Calumet Wolverines had this weekend off.
The Red Wings host the Senators today. Because of NFL football on 99.3 The Lift, coverage will begin at 4:45 on KBear 102.3.
The Pistons pasted the Pacers 121-78 Saturday. Cade Cunningham, Duncan Robinson and Javonte Green led Detroit with 16 points each. Every Piston on the roster scored.

The Packers have reportedly reached a deal on a multi-year contract extension with head coach Matt LaFleur. LaFleur had one year remaining on his current contract. Terms have not been revealed.
