The Chicago Blackhawks forward will once again repersent Finland on the global stage. Teuvo Teravainen has 14 points in his 12 games played with the Senior Team
Chicago Blackhawks forward Teuvo Teravainen has been named to the Finnish Olympic team, competing in Milan in February.
Teuvo Teravainen has been a mainstay on Finland’s national teams for years. In 2013, Teravainen recorded 11 points in the World Juniors, and one year later, he captained his country to the gold medal. 2016 saw 21-year-old Teuvo Teravainen represent Finland rather than Team Europe at the World Cup of Hockey. Most recently, “Turbo” donned the blue and white at the 4 Nations Face-Off.

The team’s defense doesn’t even feature a full NHL core, with defenseman Mikko Lehtonen playing in the National League in Switzerland. Finland will rely heavily on goaltending, headed by Juuse Saros and Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen. The Blue and White brigade will also bring over Sebastian Aho, Roope Hintz, and Mikko Rantanen in hopes of creating offensive zone pressure.
