Two teams right in the mix for division titles meet on Friday night, the New Jersey Devils get set to play host to the Vegas Golden Knights.
The Golden Knights have not been perfect this year, with injuries to the likes of Mark Stone and Adin Hill hindering the team. Yet, with the return of its captain and even though the team has lost 14 of its 26 games this season, Vegas is sitting second in the Pacific Division, one point back of the first-place Anaheim Ducks.
The Golden Knights are looking to build off a spirited come-from-behind win over the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday night.
The Devils are also trying to keep up with the best in the Metropolitan Division. However, they have also been hit by the injury bug with Jack Hughes being out for the foreseeable future. Despite having a three-game win streak last, New Jersey has dropped back-to-back games, getting shut out by the Dallas Stars on Wednesday, knocking them down to a Wild Card spot.
