All-Stars hockey game is coming to Strathmore this weekend – StrathmoreNow

For the first time in Strathmore and Heritage Junior Hockey League history, Strathmore will be the host town for the All-Stars game.
Teams from across Alberta will come to town to participate.
“During the summer, the league asked the teams about bringing the All-Star Game back, and I immediately knew that it aligned with our vision in Strathmore to continue to grow the Wheatland Kings within the community,” explained Agra Risk Wheatland Kings general manager Cody Holdaway. “We did place a bid, and the league voted unanimously to accept Strathmore as the host town.”
The league hasn’t held the All-Star game since the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Kings have selected the following players to play in the game:
The game takes place on Saturday. (Dec. 6)
