Panthers vs Kings Best bet: Panthers moneyline (-105)
Now is the time to buy low on the Florida Panthers, who are playing much better hockey than their last-place standing in the Atlantic Division indicates.
Florida ranks in the Top 10 in the league in both expected goals for per 60 minutes (xGF/60) and expected goals against per 60 minutes (xGA/60). The Panthers are just one of three teams that currently boast this status.
So if Florida is playing strong hockey both offensively and defensively, how does it sit in last place in the Atlantic? First, bad puck luck.
Despite generating high-danger scoring chances, the Panthers have had trouble willing the puck into the net, whether because of missed opportunities or great goaltending. That trend will eventually reverse itself.
The other reason for these results has been the inconsistent play of goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky.
The good news for him and the Panthers is that he has a strong track record against the Los Angeles Kings. Over the past two meetings, Bobrovsky is 2-0 with a .968 SV% and a 0.96 GAA.

If Florida is to win this game, it will need some goal production. There may be no better candidate than Sam Reinhart, who has logged four goals over the past five games.
There’s also a strong correlation with Carter Verhaeghe recording an assist, given that he skates alongside Reinhart on the second line and has assisted on each of his past three goals.
