Two Original Six rivals meet up on Black Friday in Beantown, as the Boston Bruins look to grab a win over the New York Rangers.
As has become a tradition in the NHL, as the league does not play on American Thanksgiving, a plethora of games are scheduled for the day after the holiday, giving fans across the country an opportunity to recover while watching some afternoon hockey.
The Bruins are a team that is much improved after a disappointing 2024-25 season. Boston finished at the bottom of the Atlantic, but has turned things around thanks to a variety of contributors.
The Bruins come into Friday afternoon looking to grab their third win in their last four games.
On the other side, the Rangers have been a struggle to watch at times this year. While they have looked better at times compared to last season, they still have many glaring errors, making many people wonder if it will be another long offseason in the Big Apple.
The Blueshirts have won back-to-back games, looking to grab a three-game win streak for the third time in the last month.
