Wild vs Jets Best bet: Gabriel Vilardi Over 0.5 assists (+145)
Gabriel Vilardi does a lot of the dirty work on his line with Mark Scheifele and Kyle Connor. He generally recovers plenty of pucks, makes passes in high-danger areas down low, and facilitates plenty of scoring chances for his two star linemates.
He was rewarded early and often to start the season, recording eight helpers over his first 12 games — a very strong rate.
Despite Connor and Scheifele regularly finding twine, Vilardi has since gone eight straight without an assist. Very abnormal.
In fact, Vilardi did not go eight games in a row all of last season. Just twice did an assist drought last more than five games.
A date with the Minnesota Wild could be just what the doctor ordered to get back on track. They’re dealing with injuries to Marco Rossi, Ryan Hartman, and Vladimir Tarasenko, which have really thinned out their forward core and made them a worse team at both ends of the ice.
The Winnipeg Jets have also steamrolled them in recent years, winning nine consecutive games against their division rivals.
Vilardi has registered an assist in nearly half of Winnipeg’s wins. If they’re able to get back on track, there’s a good chance he plays a meaningful role.

Vilardi has 16 points this season. Of that total, nine have come on a goal that Scheifele also factored in on. The two have great chemistry, and Scheifele has scored in eight of 12 games this season following a day of rest.
The Jets have owned the Wild of late. They’ve also been quick to respond following a loss, only losing consecutive games in one stretch this season.
Winnipeg has won nine straight head-to-head meetings, outscoring Minnesota by 20 in aggregate. Find more NHL betting trends for Wild vs. Jets.
