Both teams are trying to build momentum heading into American Thanksgiving. The Stars occupy second in the Central Division, while the Oilers sit in sixth place in the Pacific Division.
This will be the first home game for Edmonton after a long road swing, and they’ll have a chance to go into the holiday weekend with a victory. Not having to deal with a talented player like Rantanen will help. However, Dallas won’t be a pushover. Despite this, the hosts should get the win.
Prediction: Oilers win 4-3.
We close out NHL predictions with some prop bets of the night. The over/under for the Stars versus the Oilers is 6.5, and we like the over in this game.
As for individual props, go with Miro Heiskanen to get at least a point for Dallas. On the Edmonton side of things, take Bouchard to have at least a power-play point.
