The season isn’t over for teams that lose in the District 3 quarterfinals, but they’ll have to navigate through the consolation round to gain a state tournament berth.
Here are Saturday’s D3 quarterfinal matchups along with PennLive’s predictions and picks:

CLASS 1A
(9) Greenwood (14-4-1) at (1) Susquenita (18-1), 7 p.m.: The Blackhawks had little trouble with Big Spring in the first round, but the road to semifinals gets a little tougher in the quarters. Still, the top seed should prevail, with Sarah Clouser in goal and offensive-minded Brae Prinz leading the charge. Susquenita, 5-0.
(5) West Perry (14-3) at (4) Boiling Springs (15-3), 4:30 p.m.: The defending District 3 and PIAA Class 1A champion Mustangs enjoyed a fine season, led by underclassmen Maddie Bell, Zoe Steppe and Briley Comp and a new head coach. However, it probably won’t be enough to overcome Kendall Longenberger & Co., as the Bubblers should move into the semifinals. Boiling Springs, 5-1.
(7) Camp Hill (17-2) vs. (2) Lancaster Country Day (18-0) at Manheim Township High School. 10 a.m.: Beating Camp Hill involves stopping high-powered scorer Liv Hess. If a team manages to accomplish that feat – then they’ll have to solve the ability of goalkeeper Piper Reibsane. The Lions D will need to clamp down on LCD’s Anna Fisher in this one. Camp Hill 4-0.
(11) Berks Catholic (11-7) at (3) Oley Valley (13-4), 10 a.m.: The Saints took down sixth-seeded Wyomissing on a fourth quarter goal by Lily Wolf to gain the quarterfinals. Oley Valley, the Berks County Interscholastic Athletic Association champs, handled Schuylkill Valley behind Megan Kelly, Kadyn Rhoades and Ava Walters. Oley Valley, 5-1.

CLASS 2A
(8) New Oxford (11-6) at (1) Palmyra (16-3), 11 a.m.: Palmyra has way too many weapons – Jovie Weaver, Maddie Stahl, Abby Bennett, Ella Detwiler and Maddy Waldon — just name a few. The Cougars are just warming up their postseason engines. Palmyra, 6-0
(13) Red Land (11-8) at (5) Northern (16-3), 2 p.m.: Red Land bounced fourth-seeded Manheim Central out of the tournament in convincing fashion behind Izzy Hockenberry, Danica Hobart and Delaney Fink. Northern scored an early goal on Twin Valley in its first-round contest and posted a defensive-minded 1-0 win. The Polar Bears won the most recent meeting between these two Mid-Penn Keystone Division opponents by a 3-2 count. Northern will need MJ Simpson, Ke Dykes and Sarah Gunning on offense and GK Lauryn Hose sharp in the cage. Northern, 2-1.
(7) Lampeter-Strasburg (12-6-1) at (2) Warwick (15-2), 10 a.m. Both Lancaster-Lebanon League schools posted impressive win in their respective first round games. Warwick is the defending D3, 2A champion and won’t go away easily. Warwick is led by Ohio State commit Karys Craver, who owns more than 200 career points. Annalaye Glenn is another Warwick scorer to watch. Meanwhile, L-S won its first District game in eight years this week, but goalie Elise Roher is going to have her hands full with the L-L tournament’s runner-up. Warwick, 6-2.
(6) Hershey (11-6-1) at Susquehannock (18-0), 1 p.m.: Susquehannock needed overtime to eliminate 14th seeded Cocalico in the first round. Hershey downed 11th-seeded Elizabethtown, 1-0, on an untimed corner goal by Ellie Aynardi at the end of regulation. This should be a close, defensive-minded game. Hershey teams usually find a way to win this type of game. Look for playmakers Larkin Tweet and Lexie Hahn to step up, along with GK Kylie Mullen. Hershey, 2-1.

CLASS 3A
(8) Wilson (13-5) at (1) Lower Dauphin (14-2-1), 1 p.m.: Top-seeded Lower Dauphin, a team that starts four freshmen, enters the tournament rested and ready after a first-round bye and looks to keep a long winning skein against Pa. teams alive and well. Lily Rost, Chase Strohm and Laurel Unger should make that happen. Lower Dauphin, 6-1.
(5) Cumberland Valley (13-4-2) at (4) Mechanicsburg (15-3-1), 10 a.m.: These familiar Mid-Penn Conference Commonwealth foes go at it for the third time this season. Mechanicsburg won the first game and the two teams played to a late season draw. Cumberland Valley is coming in hot off a tough battle with Penn Manor that ended in an OT loss and a big first-round win over Central Dauphin. Mechanicsburg, the Commonwealth co-champs, comes into the tournament off back-to-back losses to Palmyra and Lower Dauphin. Will CV freshman Phia Hunter, along with senior Marissa Muza carry the Eagles into semis? Or will Libby Olivetti, Carly Valentino & Co. get the Wildcats there? This is a tossup. Mechanicsburg, 2-1 OT
(7) Manheim Township (10-5-2) at (2) Penn Manor (13-2-1), 7 p.m.: Township took down a pretty good Ephrata team in the first round while Penn Manor enjoyed a bye. The duo of Chloe Hook and Alison Smith should keep Penn Manor, the Lancaster-Lebanon League champions, clicking throughout this one. Penn Manor, 5-2
(14) Hempfield (7-12) at (11) Carlisle (10-9), 1 p.m.: Carlisle took down sixth-seeded Dallastown in the first round to record its first District 3 tournament win in 15 years. Hempfield upset third-seeded Conestoga Valley to advance. So, this is an interesting matchup. Carlisle’s Evie Daniels is solid in the cage and the Thundering Herd have enough weapons in Saphira Garcia, Emma Shope and Abby Vaughn to gain the semifinals and a trip to the PIAA tournament. Carlisle, 3-2.
