Loudoun Valley senior Hope Losty opened the scoring in the Virginia Class 4 field hockey championship game. Losty’s goal in the third quarter put Loudoun Valley on top 1-0 before Gloucester scored the final two goals of the game to win 2-1.

Gloucester scored a goal in the closing seconds of the third and fourth quarters to turn a 1-0 deficit into a 2-1 victory over Loudoun Valley in the Virginia Class 4 field hockey championship game Saturday at Independence High School in Ashburn.
