Kings – Phillip Danault: Danault has led the Kings in scoring against the Maple Leafs since he signed with the team in 2021. Danault has six points (3-3-6) in that span, including three goals and four points from the four games he has played in Toronto, including a three-point game during his Kings debut in this building during the 2021-22 season.
Maple Leafs – William Nylander: Nylander enters tonight’s action with 24 points (8-16-24), the most of any player so far this season in the Eastern Conference, tied for fifth in the NHL as a whole. Nylander’s 16 assists are also tied for fifth in the NHL. Over his last ten games against the Kings, Nylander has collected 12 points, most on the Maple Leafs in that span.
