After a light start to the 2025-26 senior hockey campaign last weekend, there are 14 games on tap across the four local leagues this weekend with the Sask Valley Hockey League leading the way.
After postponing last week’s season opener, the Eston Ramblers will be on the road Friday night to face the Delisle Bruins at 8:00 PM in each club’s first game of the season. Delisle was set to be in Eston, Blue Jays Game 7 perhaps getting in the way of the first senior game of the year the AGT Centre in Eston, the game yet to be rescheduled judging by the league website.
That game between the Bruins and Ramblers is the first of two this weekend for each team. The Bruins will visit the Kenaston Blizzards on Saturday night as part of two games in the league, and then after an idle Sunday, a special SVHL Monday game sees the Eston Ramblers hosting the Kenaston Blizzards at 8:30 PM.
