BARNSTABLE — For a brief period in Friday’s Division 4 Round of 32 field hockey game between No. 23 Smith Academy and No. 10 St. John Paul II, it appeared as if the Lions were vulnerable.
The wind seemed at times unbearable. The visiting Falcons outplayed JPII in the fourth quarter. The host Lions were not taking advantage of their chances.
