Sam Reinhart spotted at CFL game ahead of return to South Florida for Stanley Cup defense – The Hockey News

The National Hockey League offseason is nearing the home stretch.
Soon, NHL players who aren’t already working out in their respective team facilities will start making their way into town ahead of training camp.
That includes the Florida Panthers, who will be entering the 2025-26 season looking for the rare Stanley Cup three-peat.
One player who has been a key member of Florida’s championship teams and is still enjoying some time back home is Sam Reinhart.
Looking back, the British Columbia native sure closed out his season with a bang.
Reinhart finished the Stanley Cup Final with goals in four consecutive games, capping off the series with an eye-popping four goals in Florida’s deciding game victory over the Edmonton Oilers.
He’s racked up 160 goals and 324 points over his 321 regular season games in a Panthers sweater, adding another 32 goals and 56 points in 76 postseason outings.
While Reinhart is expected to arrive in South Florida in the coming weeks, on Saturday night he was spotted in Vancouver with his wife Jessica taking in a CFL game between the BC Lions and Montreal Alouettes.
Reinhart is entering the second season of an eight-year extension he signed with the Panthers last summer.
He came in second place in voting for the Frank J. Selke Trophy last season, trailing only teammate Sasha Barkov.
