After the New Jersey Devils defeated the Colorado Avalanche at home on Sunday, they extended their win streak to eight games and are now 8-1-0 through nine games. After Sunday’s 4-3 overtime victory, they face the Avalanche again at Ball Arena, who stand at 5-1-4 with a 2-0-2 home record. The Devils aiming to sweep the home-and-home series against a resilient Western Conference foe.

Jack Hughes (8G, 4A) leads the way after his game-winning overtime goal sent the Avalanche back to Denver short a point, while Jake Allen continues to hold down duties in the crease. The Avalanche remain paced by Nathan MacKinnon (6G, 7A) and Martin Necas (6G, 6A). They’re looking for revenge in their barn.
