I’m backing four of the biggest offensive guns to come up big in my NHL player props today.
These NHL picks feature Nathan MacKinnon, Connor McDavid, Auston Matthews, and Brad Marchand, the latter of whom returns to Boston for the first time since being dealt to Florida. MacKinnon and McDavid have favorable matchups, while Matthews faces a team he has tormented in the past.
NHL player prop picks for Tuesday; NHL odds subject to change.

Our NHL player prop odds tool shows the best odds for every market across legal sportsbooks in your area.
McDavid has only two multi-point games out of six thus far, and his Edmonton Oilers have lost three in a row on their current East Coast trip. While it’s too early to consider anything a must-win, the Oilers will understand the importance of getting back into the win column against the struggling Ottawa Senators.
When required, McDavid delivers more often than not. And the Oilers captain has enjoyed success against the Sens, posting two or more points in four of the previous six meetings. BetMGM and DraftKings offer the best value (-110), where a winning $10 bet will profit $9.09.
Our Liam Fox targets McDavid’s teammate with our NHL anytime goal scorer predictions today.
Marchand returns to the place where he created his legend, and I have no doubt he’ll be up for the occasion. He has at least three shots in five of seven games, including the previous three. The former Bruin is averaging 3.43 shots per game and has attempted 18 in the last three.
Of the best sports betting sites, you’ll find the best odds at FanDuel (-152), where a winning $10 bet will yield a $6.58 profit. The short odds are the reason it’s a three-star play.
Only Mark Scheifele and Shane Pinto have more goals than MacKinnon, who has potted six in as many games. He has four goals in the last three and scored in four of six thus far. And he’s facing a Utah Mammoth team that he netted against in four of the previous six meetings.
I also love the Over on his shots prop, which is set at 3.5. MacKinnon has at least four shots against Utah, previously Phoenix, in seven of the previous eight meetings. If he scores, you’ll earn an $11.50 profit on a $10 bet.
The Devils’ slayer has eight goals in the last seven games against New Jersey, failing to score once in that sample size. He carries a four-game goal streak against the Devils at Scotiabank Arena into tonight’s game, a run that has seen him score five.
Matthews is starting to heat up, too, lighting the lamp three times in the last three games. FanDuel offers the best odds for him to score, which would profit $12 on a $10 bet.
