Warren quickly found his way onto the scoresheet, assisting on Anthony Duclair’s second period goal. The helper marked Warren’s first point in the NHL.

The 24-year-old grew up on Long Island. He was drafted in 2019 by the Minnesota Wild but went to play college hockey at Boston College, and then the University of Michigan for his final year.
After college, Warren signed with the Islanders, his hometown team. Based on that adorable picture of Warren as a kid, Saturday’s debut was a long time coming for the New York native.
