Michigan State hockey will go for a second straight weekend sweep on Saturday night, this time against in-state foe Northern Michigan.
The Spartans shutout Northern Michigan on Friday night, and will look to again pick up an impressive win on Saturday. Michigan State won Friday night’s matchup with the Wildcats by the final score of 4-0.
Michigan State comes into this matchup with a 4-1-0 record on the year, and with wins in each of its last four games. The Spartans’ lone loss this season came in the final seconds against New Hampshire in the season-opener.
Northern Michigan is still in search of their first win of the season, holding an 0-7-0 record this year. The Wildcats have played only ranked teams thus far and have came up short in each game.
