
The New York Rangers are back at Madison Square Garden for a Monday night matchup with the visiting Minnesota Wild. The game is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. ET with TV coverage on NHL Network and streaming on-demand.

The Rangers go into Monday’s contest sitting fifth in the Eastern Conference’s Metropolitan Division with their 3-3-1 overall record and seven points. But while the team is 3-0-1 in four road games this season, its first home win has been elusive with three shutout losses in three tries to the Edmonton Oilers (2-0), Washington Capitals (1-0) and PIttsburgh Penguins (3-0). Last time out, the Rangers got a goal and three assists from Artemi Panarin on their way to a 4-3 victory over the Montreal Canadiens.
The Wild arrive at The Garden on a run of three straight road losses to the Philadelphia Flyers (2-1), Washington Capitals (5-1) and Dallas Stars (5-2) with two more away games on the schedule before returning to their home ice on Saturday. Last time out, Minnesota fell in overtime (2-1) to the Flyers in Philadelphia as Noah Cates found the back of the net 2:37 into OT on assists from Tyson Foerstar and Jamie Drysdale. Vladimir Tarasenko scored at the 1:55 mark in the first period to help the Wild jump out to a 1-0 lead, but let the lead slip away in the third on an Owen Tippett equalizer.
