Byfield was productive last season versus Carolina, as he tied for the team lead in both assists (3) and points (4) as he collected multiple points in both head-to-head matchups, a pair of Kings victories.
Hurricanes – Shayne Gostisbehere: Leading the NHL in points this season amongst defensemen? Colorado’s Cale Makar and Carolina’s Shayne Gostisbehere. Through four games played, no blueliner in the NHL has more points than Gostisbehere, who has collected seven (1-6-7).
