Kings – Brandt Clarke: Defenseman Brandt Clarke has enjoyed an expanded role this season with the Kings and currently leads all Los Angeles blueliners with two points (1-1-2) from four games played. Clarke ranks second on the Kings in even-strength time on ice amongst defensemen and collected the assist on Kevin Fiala’s goal in Minnesota, which sparked a three-goal comeback in the third period.
Penguins – Blake Lizotte: A familiar face with tonight’s opponent is forward Blake Lizotte, who is entering his second season with Pittsburgh. Lizotte was a successful undrafted free agent signing by the Kings in 2018 and spent five seasons in the organization. Lizotte has a goal from four games played with Pittsburgh this season, where he’s found a good home as a regular in the bottom six.
