In a matchup between the Rochester Americans and the Hartford Wolf Pack, Isak Rośen scored a hat trick, leading the team to a 6-3 victory. However, there was also a huge AHL brawl to accompany it, with all skaters on the ice squaring off.
A huge brawl broke out between multiple players at the end of the second period between the two teams.
Tempers flared to the point where both goalies, Dylan Garland and Felix Sandström, almost engage in a fight before officials would intervene.
As the officials scrambled around the ice to break up all of the other fights, it made for an entertaining start to the second-period intermission.
A grand total of 17 penalties were handed out for the fracas, with Garand only getting a minor penalty for leaving his crease with the referee jumping in to stop the fight. Otherwise he and Sandström very likely would have received game misconducts like everyone else.
At the end of the game, a total of 160 penalty minutes were handed out over the course of the game.
